Captain Tim was a blast. He was fun to talk to and was great with my 5 year old daughter. He also helped her fish so my wife and I could fish without having to stop and help. Captain Tim was incredibly knowledgeable about local wildlife and pointed it out as he saw it. This is a great charter to have the whole family on. Tim was over all great. We loved his boat and the fact that we could go up into the tower so we were able to see sharks and dolphins was fantastic. We caught a large variety of fish, but our favorite was the shark. We fished both the bay and the gulf. Tim cleaned our fish for us and gave us just a genuinely good time.

We had a great time with my son in law and 2 grandkids they really enjoyed the whole morning with lots of action reeling in fish the captain was knowledgeable, kid friendly, and knew where the fish were

Great day out on the water! Captain took us out in the Gulf first, taught us how to fish the bottom, helped improve our fishing techniques (we needed help). He was always ready to put our bait on, take our fish off, and cast for us, when needed. Then he took us into the bay, we caught some more fish (we had quite a variety, but a lot were too small or not in season or not good eating). His dog, Lily, was the best! She was always on lookout, and every "fish on" she encouraged us to reel in by barking! AND, she barked when she saw the dolphins, always before we saw them. It was a GREAT day.

Tim did everything you might expect from a private charter. he brought us to a varity of spots including miles out on a choppy day to put us on fish. Tim kept us baited up and is very knowledgable of fishing in the area and clearly has had a lot of experiences.

awesome day with captain Tim, very accommodating. we showed up a week early as booking date was incorrect. Captain Tim offered to take us anyway! best part is he kept us reeling in keeps all day.

It was a very fun and easy going journey. He was eager to share his knowledge of the waterways and the fish in the area. The day featured good music and good times. We were able to catch a wide variety of fish which was exciting for my sons and I as we are new to open water ocean fishing. He was very patient with my two youngest sons ages 8 and 10 with rebating hooks after they had their bait skinned every now and then.

My brother and I just had a great trip with Captain Tim, caught a lot of fish, learned a lot and enjoyed a bunch of laughs. Will definitely do it again. Thanks again Captain Tim!!

Captain Tim made our fishing trip a great experience! We caught a variety of different fish. He was patient with my kids and showed them how to cast and the best way to place your bait. Just being on the boat was also fun. Saw dolphins and manatee! Would definitely recommend this fishing service to anyone!

My husband and I traveled to Florida with our 21-year-old son, his girlfriend, and grandparents for a deep-sea fishing trip, following a challenging period when our son spent 60 days in the ICU over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's in 2024. This trip was a celebration after enduring a hardship unlike any other. All our son wanted was to leave the hospital and go fishing! Captain Tim Hermus made that dream a reality. We caught 3 sharks and a multitude of fish. It was a fantastic day, and Tim ensured that our son could experience the fishing adventure he had been dreaming of. Thank you, Captain Tim; you were exceptional. And a special thanks to Lilly the pup too!

Captain Tim Hermus of MM Charters is truly exceptional. Recently, my family and I embarked on a four-hour morning trip with him. Captain Tim's expertise was evident as he guided us to various fishing spots throughout our excursion. We had the thrill of catching several fish species, including sharks and a stingray. On our return journey, Captain Tim ensured we spotted dolphins in the bay, adding to the enjoyment of our outing. And of course, we couldn't have asked for a better companion than Co-Captain Lillie, Tim's dog, who made the experience even more delightful.

Our inaugural visit to Englewood was nothing short of memorable! Captain Tim Hermus maintained excellent communication throughout our entire excursion. Prior to departure, he briefed us on the weather conditions, advising us wisely due to high waves in the Gulf. Opting for safety, we stayed in the Bay where we enjoyed a successful fishing session. Among our catches were a thrilling Hammerhead Shark, along with catfish and Sheep Head fish. Captain Tim expertly cleaned our fish, allowing us to enjoy a delicious fish fry that same evening. He also captured cherished moments with our family through photographs. Accommodating two adults and two children, the spacious boat provided ample room for everyone to fish simultaneously. The children particularly relished their time on the beach, collecting shells as souvenirs. The bay's pleasant weather made for a delightful outing, with manageable waves that allowed us to swim comfortably. Our experience with Captain Tim Hermus and his charter exceeded expectations, and we enthusiastically recommend this adventure to others seeking a safe and enjoyable fishing excursion in Englewood.
